A compelling collection of poems that traces the enduring legacy of Harriet Tubman alongside moments where the poet’s own life and voice intersect with Tubman’s journey. Moving through history, place, and personal reflection, the poems explore shared paths and pivotal crossings shaped by courage, faith, and the pursuit of freedom. At the meeting point of past and present, this collection invites readers to consider how Tubman’s story continues to inform purpose, resilience, and the meaning of belonging.
“Wonderful imagery!” – Joan Henderson Hodous, author, It All Counts, painter and poet.
